Late Breaking News!
AppleWorld magazine Issue 8, Summer ‘96, suggests that PowerBook users should use 7.5 upgrade 2, which seems to conflict with the advice in the Guide. Here follows a clarification:
The majority of fixes in 7.5 Upgrade 2 which are appropriate to PowerBooks, are already included in System 7.5.2 Update for PowerBooks, with the exception of Open Transport. However, there is a known conflict between Open Transport and PCMCIA card support, so until Revision 2 is localised, my advice remains as per the Guide.
